Poz, hvala. Stalak je samo od drveta, duplog iverala debljine 4 cm, ima 5 okomitih (nosivih) stranica.
Za sada nita od slika, tek kad se srede stvari...
Looks like a CO2 issue, smaller tips, smaller plants in general.
Java fern also turns brown and black if there is not enough CO2.
I dose EI, so it is not the nutrients, it has to be something else, generally CO2 or too much light.
CO2 should only be adjusted slow and methodically, never be impatient!! You learn much more if the CO2 is slowly adjusted and there is much less risk to fish.
By adjusting it slowly, you see the effects little by little and how smaller changes in the CO2 dosing can dramatically affect things, if you change it real fast, you cannot see the differences.
You also run the risk of adding too much cO2.
Using less light also helps since less light=> less CO2 demand by plants= less nutrients. All management becomes easier and algae growth is reduced.
In this aquarium was placed base of almost pure soil from buying packages for Pot plants, 4-6 cm thick layer of substrate. That set the foundation first rinsed with water for a while.
What is it that the rest is all organic material from potting soil. Dissolution of such a large amount of organic substrates apparently does not harmonious chemistry or surface water for food crops.
I am a few times (4-5) used a similar surface in the form of large quantities of peat and I used to have good and sometimes very bad results. Sometimes we would even roots of plants as either burned in the peat, while sometimes very well developed, sometimes to feel the tank odor (H2S) and sometimes not.
So I think that such substrates, particularly in such amount, not very good.
In Serbia and Croatia, many people use such substrates (many of potting soil and gravel over that) and there are different results from many of my friends. Sometimes even changing the water often can not help.
Previously, little talking and Octopus on base, I not believe that such substrates are not very good, but I eventually just cut the amount of organic matter and have no more such problems. If you just need somewhere under the root insert Osmocot or cut syringe injects a little peat mixed with garden ground.
I used google translate and let someone correct me ...
